As my first OOW event I must say ALL of my expectations were exceeded. Good thing I took notes every day, we had a flurry of activities in this week’s journey. Here are some of our key highlights from the week.
The CheckPoint Consulting team launched THREE new service offerings:
Deanna Sunde shared a presentation introducing Oracle Planning and Budgeting Solutions for the Cloud. This demo included typical planning process steps for creating, reporting and approvals.
We gave away two copies of Oracle Data Integrator 11g Cookbook. This book was co-authored by Denis Gray and features over 60 field tested recipes for successful data integration projects with Oracle Data Integrator. Congrats again to entry winners Danielle Derby of TriNet and Eric Begg of Oracle.

Did you miss our networking event at The Keeper’s Share? Well, there is always next year! Be sure to look for an invite.
My big take away from the experience is that if you were at Oracle OpenWorld to expand your knowledge of Cloud technologies, Big Data architecture and/or Hosting and Support Models then you were in the right place at the right time.
